He’s been on the road for some 19 years and finally Giants’ Assistant Coach Luke Power can call Victoria home again.
Power is moving back to his home town of Melbourne after spending 19 years away from friends and family, drafted to the AFL’s Brisbane Lions back in 1997.
The 36 year old former Lions’ footballer played one year at the GWS Giants before taking up a coaching position.
He and wife Anita along with daughter Mae will be permanent residents again after the purchase of a beautiful eastern suburbs home and a new job at the Giants.
Power will work alongside List Manager Craig Cameron from the nucleus of the AFL, Melbourne.
